Ranjini Haridas is on cloud nine, almost literally, as her new apartment in a Marad High-rise in Kochi has been credited as a splendid blend of art and architecture. The 2600 sq ft flat reflects the bohemian outlook the anchor-actress carries. The view from the entrance provides a glimpse of what's in store.
The arch doors painted in distressed 'blue' hints at the classy ambience inside. The potted plants, bamboo chair and the magnificently crafted name board are all inviting and suggest the amount of artistry that has gone into designing the house.
A team from Vanitha Veedu magazine visited Ranjini's apartment, where they were accorded a warm reception and the anchor herself showed them around describing the nook and corner of the house.

There is a large Buddha portrait on the wall in the front. "I believe in peace and tranquillity, though no one would believe it," Ranjini says laughing as she shows the portrait.
A number of potted plants have been arranged inside, which the master of ceremonies jocundly says, "it's my effort to transform this into a forest."
The interiors have been designed by Ranjini herself. Portraits, paintings, curios brought from various parts of the globe and aesthetically designed furniture in fact make the apartment an outlandish dwelling which only a discerning art enthusiast can plan.
Ranjini talks so excitedly about a framed set of 'Marvel' characters which adorns the wall and also shares the enchanting views from her rooms. Ranjini's house was featured in the June issue of Vanitha Veedu magazine.
