The construction of this eye catching house on the banks of Kadalundi River, which is barely a kilometer away from Malappuram town in Kerala, was overseen by the owner Shijil, who is a civil engineer by profession. Meanwhile, a reputed designing firm was hired to design the interiors of this contemporary style home. Unique cubic patterns are the highlight of this stunning house.
The fabulous designs on the elevation draw instant attention. The cubic designer elements and the laterite stone cladding grant an enchanting look to the elevation. The perforated wall too is a highlight here. Meanwhile, the colored glass designs in the interiors are really interesting.
From the sit-out, one could enter the foyer that has a skylight roof paved with toughened glass. The living area is designed on the right side of the foyer. Meanwhile, the dining area, kitchen with a work area, five bedrooms and prayer space are arranged around the foyer. The house that has an area of 3000 sqft is designed with lots windows to ensure amazing cross ventilation. Besides, the spaces are naturally lit with pleasant sunshine.
The fabulous combination of metallic designs and timber works make the interiors shine. The custom-made furniture perfectly suits the general theme of the house.
The bedrooms are simple and space efficient. There are three bedrooms in the ground floor while two are in the upper storey. A balcony has been arranged as part of one of the bedrooms in the first floor.
The kitchen cabinets are done in multi wood with mica lamination. The counter top, meanwhile, has been paved with white black.
The gazebo is the perfect spot to enjoy the rear view of the house.
As the owner is a civil engineer, each corner in this beautiful house has been designed with proper planning and vision. This makes this abode a highly personalized space where the family enjoys special warmth and security.
