Shahjahan and his family were brimming with ideas when they decided to build their brand-new house at their hometown in Palakkad, Kerala. The beautiful contemporary abode stands in a spacious 35-cent plot, drawing attention to its spectacular elevation and other designer elements.
The elevation built in the contemporary box design exudes classy vibes. Interestingly, the linear pattern that suits the layout of the plot adds elegance to the elevation. Meanwhile, the beautiful jalis and cladding works enhance the fabulous look of the house.
The structure has been built by leaving lots of space in the front. This leaves room for additional charm and grace that is visible from a distance. Meanwhile, the spacious front yard has been paved with Bangalore stones. The well-curated landscape boasts of verdant pearl grass lawns and lots of beautiful plants and trees.
This scintillating mansion with an area of 4200 sqft has a spacious car porch, sit-out, formal and family living areas, dining space, kitchen with an adjacent work area, two bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor. Besides, there are two more bedrooms, home theatre, a swimming pool and a balcony on the first floor.
The green courtyard beside the sit-out is an interesting feature. Meanwhile, the green-coloured couch set in the formal living area look fancy. The wooden panelling work that begins on the ceiling of the family living area extends to the walls too.
The double-height ceiling above the staircase makes the interiors look incredibly spacious. Interestingly, the stair area is the most artistically decorated space in the house. Wooden planks have been paved on metal frame to build the staircase. A quaint courtyard has been separated beneath the staircase. Indoor plants and an in-built sitting area make this area extremely cosy.
The twin wash basins in the wash area are a unique feature. Besides, there are concealed storage units too here.
The dining – kitchen areas are part of the open hall. The dining table with a sleek marble top on a sturdy metal frame looks simple yet elegant.
There is a roll-up screen on the upper living area inorder to turn it into a home theatre.
The modular kitchen is modern and has been furnished in attractive white and wooden theme. Meanwhile, the cabinets are done in marine plywood with laminate finish. Nano white has been paved on the countertop.
The bedrooms are quite opulent and can give any luxurious resort a run for their money. Meanwhile, the bay windows add warmth to the bedrooms. Moreover, the head side walls in all the bedrooms are highlighted with designer wooden panelling.
The house glimmers in golden light when the highlighter lamps are switched on at twilight. The family, meanwhile, is proud that their contemporary house with luxurious interiors looks exactly as they had imagined.
