Mintu and Roshan’s brand-new house named ‘Parudeesa’ is a paradise of comfort and tranquillity. The structure has been erected in an eye-catching fusion style where the chic elegance of contemporary architecture complements the majestic grace of traditional style. The house faces south, into the beautiful views of the iconic Chambakkara canal in Kochi, Kerala The structure has been amazingly designed to fit the 19.5 cents plot that has roads on both sides.

Besides the main gate, there is a small wicket gate too. Meanwhile, the car porch has been built in the classic cantilever style. The entrance door is crafted in elegant teak wood. The house is tech-friendly as many of the equipment here are automated. The 10 KV solar panel installed on the roof is the main source of clean energy. The leftover electricity after the domestic use is sold to the KSEB. The family isn’t scared of ‘shocking’ electricity bills as they rely on sustainable energy.

The magnificent abode has a sit-out, formal and family living areas, dining space, wash area, kitchen, four bedrooms, home theatre, study area, party space and a swimming pool too.

The entrance door opens to the luxuriously designed formal living area. One could never miss the golden-themed transparent lift here. Meanwhile, the family living area has a double-height ceiling, custom-made furniture pieces as well as a TV unit.

The dining table with artificial marble table top is truly a scintillating work of art. An adjacent wash area too has been arranged as part of the large dining space. The full-length sliding door in the dining area opens into the most surprising feature inside the house - the pool. The swimming pool could be concealed using automated sliding duck-wood panels to ensure the safety of kids.

The modern kitchen is beautifully furnished and boasts all the modern amenities. Besides the open kitchen, there is a working kitchen too. There are four bedrooms in this mansion. The bedrooms have cupboards, king-size cots, head-side boards as well as TV units.

The staircase is built in sturdy teak wood. The upper landing of the staircase has been turned into a cosy study area. Besides, there is a home theatre and a party space too upstairs. Two balconies that open into the fabulous views of the canal are the highlights of this floor.
