The homeowner wanted a low-maintenance house, as the family wouldn't reside there permanently. However, he also sought unique design features. Renowned architect Jeswin and his team were entrusted with the task to design this stunning home, completed in less than 18 months.
The distinctive short, flat box elevation gives the structure its unique look. Inverted arch windows perfectly complement the striking façade.
Spanning 2600 square feet, this contemporary home includes a car porch, a small sit-out area, formal and family living areas, a dining space, a kitchen with a work area, three bedrooms, and three bathrooms. The serene white interior walls create bright, elegant spaces.
High ceilings make the interiors feel spacious. The central hall, combining the living and dining areas, is the heart of the home. The eight-seater dining table is simple yet stylish. This wall features inverted arch-shaped windows. Custom fabric-cushioned sofas add chic elegance to the formal living area. Similarly, the family living area, featuring a TV unit, is adorned with elaborate fabric-upholstered couches. A sliding glass door leads to a patio.
The patio is the owner's favourite spot, offering a view of his brother's house. He can even chat with his mother over evening coffee from there.
The master bedroom is luxurious, resembling a high-end resort. The bed is centrally positioned, with the headboard incorporating a work table. A sliding UPVC door with a rolling shutter for security opens to the backyard.
The kitchen cabinets are plywood with a laminate finish, and the countertop is Korean stone. The family is thrilled with their new home, its proximity to loved ones, and its perfect execution of their vision.
