Kochi: In more startling revelations in the actress attack case, it has emerged that the main accused, Pulsar Suni, had first telephoned Dileep's friend, actor-turned-director Nadhirshah, from the jail. He had called the director thrice, with one phone call lasting eight minutes, the police have identified.
Meanwhile, Suni's prison mate Jins at the Ernakulam district jail has reportedly told the police that both Nadhirshah and Suni had talked about 'reward money'. The confidential statement that surfaced on Monday also said that Suni made all the calls from the prison cell.
Chalakkudi native Jins, who has been remanded in a case of fraud, had earlier tipped off the jailers that Suni and gang were acting as part of a conspiracy.

And Pulsar Suni's memory card goes to... Kavya Madhavan's shop?
The actress attack case, which took place in February, hogged the headlines again after a letter purportedly written by or at the behest of Suni to actor Dileep came out through media reports recently.
Soon after an audio of Suni's phone call to Dileep's manager Appunni had surfaced. In the audio, Suni purportedly told Dileep's manager that money should be given if the actor's name should not be dragged in the case.
The officers then questioned Dileep, Appunni and Nadhirshah. The police also conducted searches at Kavya Madhavan's shop Laksyah, Kakkanad, last week.
On Sunday, photos of Suni at the location of Dileep's film 'Georgettan's Pooram' emerged.
Dileep, who got married to Malayalam actress Kavya Madhavan in 2016, had said he did not have any contact, directly or indirectly, with any of the accused involved in the "heinous crime."
