Class 8 student who attempted suicide a drug addict: Police

Kozhikode: The Class 8 student who attempted suicide here was a drug addict, the police said on Monday. According to a statement, the teenager has been consuming drugs for a year.

The student has also claimed that friends and outsiders were handing out drugs at the schools. The Kozhikode Medical College police have launched a probe.
