The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted continued heavy rainfall across Kerala over the next two days and has issued a yellow alert for four districts on Thursday.

A yellow alert indicates the possibility of heavy rainfall ranging from 7 cm to 12 cm and has been issued for Kasaragod, Kannur, Malappuram, and Idukki districts. No alerts have been issued for the remaining districts.

The weather agency has also forecast heavy rainfall in parts of Kerala on Friday, with yellow alerts in place for Kasaragod, Kannur, Wayanad, Malappuram, and Idukki districts.
