Pathanamthitta KSRTC stand to get brand-new air-conditioned waiting room

Pathanamthitta: Passengers can now enjoy the comfort of an air-conditioned waiting room at Pathanamthitta KSRTC bus stand. The waiting room has been arranged as part of the corporation’s initiative to improve customer-friendly facilities and amenities. The air-conditioned waiting room was constructed as a joint venture of KSRTC and Vivo. The room is being constructed near the station master’s office. Women and families can spend time inside the brand-new air-conditioned waiting room.

The first AC waiting room in the state was opened at Thiruvananthapuram is association with the Vivo company. Now, one is being constructed at Pathanamthitta after the waiting room in Thiruvananthapuram became a huge success. The authorities chose Pathanamthitta for this project as the depot here is the hub of Sabarimala special services. They plan to complete the construction soon and present the waiting room as an Onam gift to the passengers.

Although the bus terminal was built by spending a hefty sum, there is no waiting area here. There are only three benches for the passengers at the depot. The authorities have been trying to find sponsors for arranging more benches, but things remain unchanged. Passengers often complain that they get drenched when the rain water blows inside.
