Kumarakam: Idathara house will now enjoy the double ‘service’ of twin doctors, Anju and Achu, who passed MBBS with glorious first-class results. Anju and Achu are the daughters of E C Vijayan, who runs a barber shop at Chanthakavala in Kumarakam, and his wife, Latha.
The sisters said they are happy to have fulfilled their father’s dream by becoming doctors. Anju studied at SUT Academy of Medical Sciences in Thiruvananthapuram, while Achu was a student at Sreenarayana Medical College, Aluva.
The twins studied in the same class until completing Plus Two and had earned A+ grades in all subjects in both Class 10 and Class 12. The duo plans to write the entrance for postgraduate studies after working for a year.
