Valayar: Superstar Rajinikanth is back in Valayar as ‘jailer’! The screen icon was at Valayar, Nadupathy tribal settlement and Malabar Cements Company shooting for Jailer 2 directed by Nelson Dileepkumar. Rajinikanth had been here in April this year for the first schedule shooting of the movie. Although he was also supposed to shoot in a forest area, it was postponed due to unfavourable weather conditions. The film’s crew say that Rajinikanth returned to Valayar to shoot the portions that were supposed to be shot then.

Meanwhile, a huge set has been built at the Nadupathy tribal settlement close to the forest area. The fans were in for a treat, when Rajinikanth reached Malabar Cements, waving to them with a big smile on his face. Rajinikanth who donned a crisp white kurta and traditional mundu folded his hands and waved at them as the fans screamed ‘Thailava’ in excitement.

The superstar arrived at Malabar Cements to a grand welcome arranged by the company’s management and employees. He also met the representatives of the management. Ranjikant happily posed for photos with the employees and even enquired about their wellbeing.

The crew shot many, scenes including action sequences at Malabar Cements and in the forest path at Nadupathy Unnathi yesterday. Meanwhile, the filming location is cordoned off and police personnel have been deployed here due to safety risks. The filming crew is likely to shoot in Valayar for the next three days. Meanwhile, one more filming schedule that includes the crucial climax portions has reportedly been planned in Valayar.
