Kottayam: 'Raktarakshas', the iconic horror drama by Aris Kalanilayam, is set to return to the stage, promising audiences a visually immersive experience with the aid of modern technology.

The play, featuring a cast of 100 theatre artists, will be staged in an air-conditioned venue at the Nagampadom municipal grounds. The organisers said the exact dates will be announced soon.

The drama will feature several spectacular scenes, including a car entering the stage, and will be enhanced by a state-of-the-art 7.1 sound system. The hall is designed to accommodate 700 spectators. This marks the return of the play to Kottayam after 14 years.
