A thrilling musical night is set for November 29 at the Durbar Hall Ground, Kochi, featuring the iconic Indian Ocean band

Kochi: The iconic folk-fusion band Indian Ocean is set to captivate audiences with their soulful music at Manorama Hortus, to be held at Subhash Park, Kochi, from November 22 to 30, 2025.

A thrilling musical night is set for November 29 at the Durbar Hall Ground, Kochi, featuring the iconic Indian Ocean band performing their greatest hits from a journey spanning 35 years. As the band takes the stage at Kerala’s biggest art, literary, and cultural festival, they will be joined by one of Kerala’s most promising local bands selected through the ‘Decibel’ competition organised by Radio Mango.

Indian Ocean, pioneers of Indian folk fusion, are known for blending traditional music with rock and jazz influences. Their songs — rich in meaning, captivating melodies and hypnotic rhythms — have won hearts across generations.

Formed in New Delhi in 1990, Indian Ocean has produced several acclaimed tracks including Kandisa, Desert Rain, and Tu Hai. Their unique sound, deeply rooted in Indian folk traditions, has found global acclaim.
