Kuttikol: The arangettam or the debut performance of the shingarimelam (percussion) team led by the Rudra Kala Samiti of the Dr BR Ambedkar Men’s Welfare group was held at the Kuttikol Mahavishnu Temple.
More than 30 students and young men of the area completed their training at the samiti. The arangettam was inaugurated by Kuttikol panchayat member P Madhavan. Trainer Arjun Manadukkam was felicitated by library council member P Prabhakaran Oyolam.
After the arangettam, the team performed in the town as well as at the Sunday Theatre Drama Program. P Divakaran, Abdul Khader Kuttikol, M Gangadharan, KC Balakrishnan, B Janardhanan, A Madhavan Kalakkara and E Narayanan Nair spoke at the event.
