Palakkad: The Kerala State Beverages Corporation (BEVCO) on Tuesday invited the public to suggest the name and logo for its proposed Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) brandy. According to a statement released by BEVCO, individuals whose suggestions are selected as the most suitable will receive a cash prize of ₹10,000 each at the time of the brand’s launch.
The new Kerala-made brandy will be manufactured by Malabar Distilleries Ltd at Menonpara in Palakkad. The public can submit their suggestions for the brand name and logo to malabardistilleries@gmail.com by January 7.
