Palakkad: Mystery shrouded the death of a class four student whose body was found hanging inside her house at Attappallam near Walayar in the district.
The 9-year-old girl, daughter of a daily-wage worker couple, was found dead on Saturday evening.
In January, her elder sister was also found dead in a similar manner.
Alleging a conspiracy behind the deaths, relatives and local residents have said that the child could have been murdered.
The police have launched a probe into the girl's death. She was a student of Government LP School, Attappallam.
The girl's parents found their child dead when they returned home after work.
