Ravindra Jadeja has shot up in the batting charts while he maintains top spot in the latest ICC men's Test all-rounder rankings.
Jadeja has climbed five places to 29 in the batting rankings after his unbeaten century in the second innings of the fourth Test against England at Manchester.
Jadeja made 107 not out, forging an unbeaten 203-run stand with Washington Sundar (101) to help India draw the match and stay alive in the series (1-2).
Jadeja remains a clear favourite in the all-rounder rankings, with 422 points, while second-placed Mehidy Hasan Miraz of Bangladesh has 305 points. England skipper Ben Stokes has improved three places to reach third in the all-rounder rankings on 301 points.
Like Jadeja, Stokes also progressed in the Test batting rankings, improving eight places to reach 34. He scored 141 in England's first innings at Manchester.
Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah held his position as the No 1 men's Test bowler and England's Joe Root stayed clear at the top of the batting rankings. Root (13,409) scored a century in the Manchester Test to go past Ricky Ponting (13,378) in the all-time run-getters list. The legendary Sachin Tendulkar (15,921) is first in the all-time list.
