After playing a significant role in India's T20I series win in Australia, ace spinner Varun Chakravarthy will lead the Tamil Nadu state team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

Wicketkeeper Narayan Jagadeesan will assist Chakravarthy in the domestic T20 event starting November 26.

India pacer T Natarajan, Sai Kishore, Andre Siddarth and Shahrukh Khan are some of the main players in the Tamil Nadu squad.

Tamil Nadu are clubbed in Elite Group D alongside Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Tripura, Jharkhand and Saurashtra.
