Goncalo Ramos, who started in place of Cristiano Ronaldo, starred with a hat-trick as Portugal crushed Switzerland 6-1 in their World Cup last-16 clash on Tuesday.
Ramos scored a stunner in the 17th minute, while Pepe headed home off a corner in the 33rd as Portugal led 2-0 at the break. Ramos scored again on resumption of play and Raphael Guerreiro made it 4-1 before Manuel Akanji pulled one back.
Ramos notched up his hat-trick in the 67th, while Rafael Leao completed the tally in injury time.
Portugal will meet Morocco in the quarterfinals on Saturday.
