Indian shuttler H S Prannoy stunned defending champion and world No. 1 Viktor Axelsen to enter the semifinals of the BWF World Championships and thereby ensure the nation a medal.

The 31-yer-old Keralite will take on Thailand's world No. 3 Kunlavut Vitidsarn for a place in the final.
