Goa, Queenstown swept Bipin off his feet

Model and actor Bipin Jose first came to the lightlight thanks to his role as Raman in the popular TV serial 'Sita' which won him several fans among the family audiences. Bipin, who also loves travelling, says that he has a long bucket list of destinations. The actor speaks to Onmanorama about his interesting travel experiences as well as future plans.

According to Bipin, he has a trip lined up after most shooting assignments. “If the trip is along with friends, it would be fantastic. I love journeys with family also, but both travels offer a different experience,” he says.

A family trip is planned depending on the destination. “However, I find more thrill in setting out on a long trip without any planning,” reveals Bipin.

“I always had a love affair with travelling. Journeys are a big relief while leading a hectic life. Whenever I feel tense, it would be the right time for a trip. After I enjoy all the sights and return, all the tension would have vanished. The pleasure and energy I derive during each journey have helped me immensely in life as well as career,” reveals the celebrity.

A super trip to Goa

A land of several stunning beach attractions, Goa is also known for its streets that are alive round the clock, music-filled evenings and easy availability of intoxicant substances. All these make the place a favourite among youths.

“Goa can be termed as India’s night-life capital. The state has the best beaches in the country. My recent trip to Goa was along with family and friends and we all had a great time together,” says Bipin.

It’s always celebration time in the beaches of South Goa and North Goa. Palolem, Agonda and Colva are the noted beaches in South Goa and Anjuna, Baga and Morjim are the major seaside tourist spots in North Goa. While the beaches in South Goa are calm, quiet and picturesque with thin crowds, those in the North are always alive with seaside parties and other celebrations.

“Goa has much similarities with Kerala. In fact, both states almost look the same with coconut trees and canals, but for the way the local people dress,” informs Bipin.

“Food is rather cheap there and dishes of all Indian and foreign cuisines are available,” he adds.

Foreign trips

Bipin’s zest for travelling has also taken him to many destinations abroad. “New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai, Kuwait and Sri Lanka are among the places I have visited. All of them offered memorable experiences. One of my best trips was to Queenstown in New Zealand. It is considered the top tourist spot in the country and lures a large number of travellers with snow-clad peaks and mountains as well as glaciers,” he says.

The actor’s trip to Queenstown took place during the autumn season. “There were amazing sights everywhere. Trees and shrubs in colours such as yellow, red and orange presented a wondrous image. Moreover, the mountains covered with snow and the blue lake offered picture post card scenery. I did not wish to return from that place and all the visuals still remain vivid in memory. In fact, I have an urge to make another trip to Queenstown,” says Bipin.

More travel dreams

Whenever Bipin sees a photo or video of an interesting spot, he develops a wish to make a trip there. “I have some dream destinations, which are in Europe. Switzerland, Greece, Amsterdam and Paris are among them. But I would have to save some money before planning a trip to these places,” he reveals.
