Kashmir's Gulmarg's cricket fans had a great day as the Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, during his trip to Kashmir, kept a few minutes aside to play some spirited gully cricket with them. Sharing the video of the fun moments in the picturesque Gulmarg, Sachin wrote on his page, 'A match in heaven!' The cricketer is on his first-ever trip to Kashmir and also has his family with him. In the previous days, he also visited the Aman Setu bridge that marks the final frontier on the Line of Control in the Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

He spent an hour at the spot, conversing with soldiers at the Kaman Post adjacent to the bridge. He also visited a local cricket bat factory. Sharing the video from the factory, he wrote on his page, 'The first bat given to me was by my sister and it was a Kashmir willow bat. Ab main yahan hoon to Kashmir willo ko to milna banta hai. Some of my favourite bats had only about 5 to 6 grains. How many grains do your bats have?'

A popular skiing destination and hill station in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir, Bulmarg is 49 kms from Srinagar. Recently, the Khelo India Winter Games got kicked-off in Gulmarg. At the same time, the tourist spot has also been amassing massive snowfalls in the past few days.
