Kochi is one of the hottest and most happening places in the state. And it comes as no surprise that the city is the first choice of celebrities when it comes to venturing into starting a business. Especially when they decide to step into the hospitality industry. We take a look at some restaurants which were started or backed by celebrities from the movie and TV industry. **Waffle Street** brings you waffles, crepes and donuts. The smells waft through the windows and doors and lures you in. And interestingly, the man behind this venture is actor Asif Ali, who made his debut with the movie Ritu. Asif, it is said was keen on starting something new and it reflects in Waffle Street. Their USP is the brand ambassador Lakshmi Nair who is a celebrity chef and an anchor. And Kelly's dishes up some of her famous recipes.
