A burger now is not just patties and buns says Oneal Sabu (fcboy83), who writes on Soul Fried Monologues and an active member of EatKochiEat, a popular food group on Facebook. There is much more to it, he says. He lists his favorite burgers and where to have them in Kochi.

1. The  Dark Knight

I can't imagine what Gotham would have been without the Dark Knight. But let alone Gotham, what would Kochi have done, had there not been a Dark Knight to entice your gourmet burger cravings? This is one juicy burger that you cannot – I repeat – you cannot afford to miss at all. It is the black brioche bun that has now attained celebrity status in and around town and adding to all that is the juicy patty of beef that is topped with cheddar and sauces that are hard to decipher.

The Dark Knight rises here:

So who is the Dark Knight and where is he from ?

2. The Jawbreaker

A very close competitor to the Dark Knight is yet another prolific burger that comes like a bolt out of the blue – blue cheese to be specific. And it is literally the blue cheese in it that defines this humongous feast on buns called the "jaw breaker". Not for the faint-hearted as the blue cheese doesn't dance to everyone's tunes the first time round. Give it another go and it will grow on you. It is loaded with chargrilled pulled chicken and a succulent beef patty with a helping of lamb pepperoni to ensure that you have one meaty bite to conquer it all. I would rate this number one from the Marvel side of things for the Dark Knight is top on the DC side of the universe. You game? Find it at the Grill Lab

3. The Halo

Halo is that divinity that adorns a succulent beef patty and some bacon jam in a disk of cheddar cheese. It is one amongst the finest creations of The Burger Junction with Belgian Frites sauce in addition to all the above. There is also the branding on the halo to ensure that the divinity is certified to please you all. This burger has too much swag that I decided to lend it my shades

Halo with that Swag:

4. The Samurai

The Japanese would have never imagined that Kochi in India and not the one in Japan, had to come up with a red potato bun called "Samurai" to plate joys in the city. It is again another unique burger that Kochi prides on for the novelty involved. The Samurai was the first to appear before the Dark Knight outshined its elder brother within a few months on the run.
