Rains, railway tracks and memories – these photos will make you nostalgic

These photos will definitely make you feel nostalgic. Photo: Rahul S Pattom

Do you remember the time when the  Malayalam months of Thulam and Vrishchikam (October – November) were marked by incessant rains? They used to come as a surprise in the evenings, generally. Our photographer, Rahul R Pattom brings you some scenes from Kollam. Scenes that you will definitely make you nostalgic, if you have lived near the railway track or traveled on one.

Walking home after a day's work will obviously take you near the tracks.

You need to be aware, extra aware while traveling near the tracks.

It is homeward bound for this farmer too.

It is not ideal to cross the tracks, but waiting for the train to cross is a sight you see, oh, so often across the country.
