After Munnar, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode and Ernakulam, Thrissur also gets a KSRTC double-decker tourist bus from today. The electric bus departs from the KSRTC bus stand, Thrissur, at 3 pm and 5.30 pm. The 3 pm service is to the new zoo in Puthur via the Sakthan stand, Swaraj Round, Kizhakekkotta, Kalathodu, Mannuthi route. The second trip, at 5.30 pm, is to Sobha City, Puzhakkal, via the Sakthan stand, Swaraj Round, Aswini Junction, Patturaikkal, Poonkunnal, Puzhakkal route. It will take the Ayyanthol-Collectorate-Padinjarekotta-Vanchikkulam route to reach the KSRTC bus stand.

Rates and things to note
1) The Puthur zoo trip costs ₹250 for the upper deck and ₹125 for the lower deck.
2) The Sobha City route costs ₹200 for the upper deck and ₹100 for the lower deck.

1) Unlike other services, there will be no stops in between for the services.
