To embark on this journey, head past the Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University and make your way to Vakkad Beach. Right at the entrance to the beach, a newly constructed road branches off to the left. This is where your coastal adventure begins, offering a continuous, picturesque drive that keeps the sea within arm's reach from start to finish.

As you drive along this coastal stretch, your first major stop is Kashmir Beach, arguably one of the most beautiful and serene coastlines in the district. Unlike more commercialised destinations, this area remains beautifully secluded with very few residential pockets or crowds. It is the perfect spot to park your vehicle, sit on the sand, and simply lose yourself in the sights and sounds of the ocean. Further down the road, you will encounter a charming little park curated by the Mangalam Panchayat, perfect for a quick pause and some photographs.

Continuing the journey, the road winds past Kootayi Beach before finally culminating at the famous Padinjarekkara Beach, spanning a total distance of approximately 10 kilometres. Here, you can transition into the DTPC Tourism Beach park to enjoy a closer look at the sea. This location is famous for its stunning sunset viewpoint, where you can watch the sun melt into the horizon, casting golden hues across the water.

Ever since the new road opened, these beaches have seen a massive surge in visitors, especially during the evening hours. However, local authorities advise caution. For those wishing to step close to the water, Padinjarekkara Tourism Beach remains the safest option as it is fully equipped with active lifeguards and DTPC staff. Safety measures at the other beaches along the route are still being actively developed.

The Mangalam Panchayat, District Administration, and the DTPC are currently working together to secure the prestigious international 'Blue Flag' certification for Kashmir Beach. Once this eco-label is secured, this pristine shore is poised to become one of the premier beach tourism destinations in Kerala, putting Malappuram firmly on the global travel map.
