Dubai’s beloved multicultural park, Global Village, will reopen its gates on October 14, Wednesday, for another vibrant season, promising fresh experiences, world-class entertainment, and global culinary treats. Operating under the theme 'A More Wonderful World', the destination will welcome guests until May, featuring 29 country pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, over 3,500 shopping outlets, 250 dining spots, and upwards of 200 rides and attractions.
Cultural pavilions and fresh additions
To make the experience even more engaging for young visitors, Global Village is introducing a new souvenir passport this season. Children can collect stamps at dedicated stations across different country pavilions, offering a fun way to learn about diverse traditions while preserving memories of their visit. Visitors can also look forward to revamped pavilions for Sri Lanka, Russia, Azerbaijan, Syria, and Kuwait, each showcasing authentic handicrafts, music, and cultural heritage.
Thrill rides and world-class entertainment
Adrenaline seekers have plenty to look forward to this year, including 'Tokyo Rush', a high-speed roller coaster featuring sharp turns and thrilling loops, set to debut later in the season. The iconic Festival Wheel has also been upgraded with newly designed cabins for a fresh perspective of the park skyline.
The season’s entertainment lineup features 400 artists performing in over 40,000 shows. New headline acts include the high-octane stunt spectacle 'Fast Live 2: The Police Strikes Back', alongside stage productions such as 'Bollywood Idol'—a musical exploring the contrasting paths of two brothers—and the action-packed 'Bank Heist'. Popular favourite 'Slam' returns to the stage, while younger guests can enjoy character appearances by the Care Bears and PJ Masks at the kids' theatre.
A global feast for food lovers
Food enthusiasts can explore a diverse array of new dining concepts. Additions this season include Turkish restaurant Trabzon, Levantine eatery Robo Al Sham, Egyptian street food spot Hawawshi Al Rabee, and fast-food favourite Chicking. New cafe destinations such as Vinci Dolci, Emir Bey Gourmet, and Uzungol Cafe join the lineup, alongside the popular Desert District for sweet treats.
Visitors will also enjoy enhanced visual experiences, including the return of the scenic Gardens of the World, brand new LED lighting installations at the Cultural Gate, and newly themed decorations along the Sharjah tunnel leading into Global Village.
Enhanced visitor convenience
To streamline arrivals, visitors can now pay VIP parking fees directly through dedicated vending machines. Additional ticket counters have been added at the Happiness Gate, alongside expanded family restroom facilities. Guests seeking quick assistance can also use a new WhatsApp chatbot service for real-time information and park guidance.
Since its launch in 1997, Global Village has welcomed over 100 million visitors, cementing its reputation as one of the region's top entertainment landmarks.
