New Delhi: The Chinese Embassy in India stated that it has approved more than 85,000 visas for Indian nationals until April this year. Chinese Ambassador to India Xu Feihong welcomed Indians to visit China, in a note posted on X. Meanwhile, the Chinese government has simplified the visa processing and announced exciting plans to woo Indian tourists.

Relaxations in visa guidelines
1) Reduced the visa fee
2) Applicants could apply directly at the visa centres on working days without taking an appointment
3) Relaxation in submitting biometric details for short-term visitors
4) Made visa processing faster by reducing delays
