Time tables are in place for the newly launched Mangaluru-Rameshwaram (16622, 16621) and Tirunelveli-Mangaluru (16708, 16707) weekly express trains. The Rameshwaram train with 22 coaches begins service from tomorrow onwards, while the 17-coach Tirunelveli Express starts running from March 18.

The Tirunelveli Express has one second AC, two third AC, eight sleeper, four general second class, one divyang and one luggage coach. The train that starts from Tirunelveli at 3.45 pm on Wednesdays reaches Mangaluru by 6.55 am on Thursday. The return trip is at 1 pm on Thursdays and reaches Tirunelveli by 7.45 am the next morning.

Meanwhile, the Rameshwaram express has two second AC, six third AC, six sleeper, four general second class, one divyang and one luggage coach.

The train starts at 7.30 pm on Saturdays from Mangaluru and reaches Rameshwaram by 10.50 am the next day. This train returns from Rameshwaram at 3.30 pm on Sundays and reaches Mangaluru by 6.55 am on Mondays. Both trains have modern LBS coaches that ensure comfortable travel for passengers.
