Escalating conflict across West Asia has impacted international flight operations from Kerala, leading to the cancellation of 10 services connecting Cochin International Airport with key Middle Eastern destinations. Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) authorities confirmed that the flight disruptions span three consecutive days, from October 11 to 13.
Impact on Gulf services
The cancellations affect critical routes connecting Kochi to major hubs including Riyadh, Jeddah, Doha, and Ras Al Khaimah. Budget carrier Akasa Air is the most affected, accounting for five of the cancelled services across the three days. Operations of Flynas, Air India Express, and IndiGo have also been disrupted.
