Idukki: The Government Engineering College here has launched an app which provides up-to-date information on upcoming college events. It has been designed by a team under Vishnu Suresh, a second-year computer science student. Its logo has been designed by Shyamjith, a student of the Mechanical engineering department.
The app, named 'DVAYA,' consists of information on blood bank, college forum, details of college faculties, facilities at college departments, notifications, time table, and so on. The app designer Vishnu informed that it will be available on Play Store soon.
College chairperson Arya Vijayan inaugurated the launch event on October 15.
The students hope that the app will be successful as it has features that are useful for them.
