The film fest screened a plethora of movies ranging from debutante Rahi Anil Barve's fantasy/thriller, 'Tumbbad' to national award-winning director, VC Abhilash’s 'Aalorukkam'.

Kollam: The 2019 film festival conducted by the TKM college of Engineering concluded Sunday.

The film fest screened a plethora of movies ranging from debutante Rahi Anil Barve's fantasy/thriller, 'Tumbbad' to national award-winning director, VC Abhilash’s 'Aalorukkam'.

The film festival, an initiative by the Film & Drama club in association with The Kerala State Chalachithra Academy (KSCA) opened up the stage for many aspiring film buffs and critics to have a one on one with some of the industry’s greatest including an online interactive session with director-writer Anjali Menon.

The fest held many promo screenings including a documentary on Kollam Tourism by Visakh Vijayakumar an engineer turned film maker along with an interactive session by Kerala cinema's finest, Mr Shammi Thilakan.

The third day was action packed with workshop sessions spear headed by cinematographer Fowzia Fathima along with directors Asha Achy Joseph and Jeeva K J followed by a panel discussion with national award-winning scriptwriter Sajeev Pazhoor.

The festival screened a total of 20 movies and saw an interactive session with the Aruvi star Adithi Balan and director of the controversial film, S Durga, Mr Sanal Kumar Sasidharan which proved to be quiet a crowd puller and a perfect curtain fall to the 4 day-long event.
