Seven students from Kerala to witness Republic Day parade

Seven students from Kerala will witness the Republic Day parade in New Delhi along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They are among the 50 students from around the country invited to the ‘PM’s Box’ along with other distinguished personalities for the prestigious event. The seven students were selected as they were the all-India toppers in separate subjects at the CBSE Class 12 exams held last year.

The Central Government will meet the expenses for travel and accommodation of these students to New Delhi. Moreover, they would be presented with a certificate by the Education Ministry.

The meritorious students from Kerala are:

Humanities:

Lakshmi Nair and Nirmala Jensen (Students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Puranattukara, Thrissur).

Sreya Susan Mathew (Sarvodaya Central Vidyalaya, Nalanchira, Thiruvananthapuram)

Niya Susan Chali (Rajagiri Public School, Kalamassery, Ernakulam)

Commerce:

Alisha P Shaji (Kendriya Vidyalaya, Ernakulam)

Farasha Fathima (Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Chala, Kannur)

Computer Science:

T R Abhijith (Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kanjikode, Palakkad)
