Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Education Minister V Sivankutty has said that a grading system will be introduced to prevent the CBSE students from losing out on admission for higher studies.
Discussions are ongoing in this regard and details will be announced soon. Steps are being taken after complaints that CBSE students were lagging behind in admission.
The issue of fewer plus-two seats in the Malappuram district will be resolved. While considering the total number of students who have qualified for higher studies in the district, there is a shortage of 2700 plus-one seats in the government sector, the Minister said.
