Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Government has intervened in a recent controversy over the attire of female students at the Government Training College in Thiruvananthapuram.

“Students at the BEd colleges in the state can wear any comfortable and decent dress during their training period,” said Minister for Higher Education R Bindu. “The Director of Collegiate Education has issued an order in this regard,” she added.

A section of students at the training college in the state capital had complained that the principal had verbally abused them over their choice of dress.
