Nursing jobs in Canada, Saudi Arabia: Apply with NORKA now

Thiruvananthapuram: NORKA-Roots is organising recruitment of nurses belonging to Kerala for Newfoundland and Labrador province in Canada and the Saudi Health Ministry (exclusively for women). The recruitment to Saudi Arabia will take place this month and to Canada in late November and early December.

Canada
The interviews to the postings in Canada will be held in Kochi from November 26 to December 5. Eligibility to appear for the interviews is a BSc Nursing degree earned after 2015 and a minimum work experience of two years (full-time biweekly 75 hours). Applicants also should clear the NCLEX exam for nursing jobs in Canada. Details and FAQs are given on the website of NORKA. The pay is Canadian dollars 33.64-41.65 per hour (Rs 2100-2600)

Interested applicants should prepare their CV in the format given on NORKA’s website www.norkaroots.org. Two professional references have to be included in the CV.

Applications have to be sent to the e-mail ID newfound.norka@kerala.gov.in before November 16 with the following attachments: Academic certificates, nursing registration certificate, academic transcript, passport and motivation letter.

Saudi Arabia
Meanwhile, interviews for vacancies in Saudi Health Ministry also will take place in Kochi. The dates are from November 28 to 28. Openings are available for female nurses in specialties such as emergency room, general department, ICU, midwife and paediatric ICU.

Those with a nursing degree or PBBS qualification and at least two years’ work experience can apply. All applicants have to produce a valid passport during the interview. Detailed CV and copies of certificates related to education, experience and passport have to be mailed to rmt3.norka@kerala.gov.in before November 16.

Authorities said that NORKA-Roots has not assigned any sub-agents for the recruitment. “If any person approaches the candidates posing as an agent, it should be brought to our attention,” said K Harikrishnan Namboodiri, chief executive of NORKA-Roots.
