Film Critics Award for Jayaraj, Fahadh and Manju Warrier

Thiruvananthapuram: Director Jayaraj, who won the 65th National Film Award for his film Bhayanakam, on Friday, was named the 'best director' by the Kerala Film Critics Association.

While the award for the best film went to Dileesh Pothan's Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, its lead actor Fahadh Faasil won the award for the best actor. Manju Warrier grabbed the best actress award.

This year's state award winner Indrans was named for the Critics Jubilee award, while music director M K Arjunan won the lifetime achievement award.

Other awards: Dileesh Pothan (director of best film), Aalorukkam (second best film), VC Abhilash (director of second best film), Tovino Thomas (second best actor), Aishwarya Lekshmi (second best actress), Sreekanth Menon, Shane Nigam, Nimisha Sajayan (upcoming talents), Alok (best child actor), Meenakshi (best chid actress), Sajeev Pazhoor (best scripwriter), Dr M G Sadashivan (best lyrisist), 4 Music (music direction), Kallara Gopan (best playback singer - male), Jyotsna Radhakrishnan (best playback singer - female), Nikhil S Praveen (cinematography), Ayoob Khan (editor), Ranganath Ravi (sound engineer), Mayasiva (choreography), N G Roshan (makeup artist), S K Satheesh (costume designer), Ramaleela (popular film) and Ilakal Pacha Pookkal Manja (best film for children).

Films Clint, Sadrishya Vakyam 24:29, Hadiya, Eliyammachiyude Adhyathe Christmas and Kinnar won the special jury award.
