Kerala in grip of Rajini fever, Kochi firm to shutdown as 'Kaala' hits screens

It's Rajinikanth fever again! The superstar's movie will have a worldwide release on Thursday and fans are too excited to watch.

Interestingly, a Kerala-based IT company, Telious Technologies, has declared a holiday for all its employees on the release day of 'Kaala'. It seems the company agreed to the request raised by its employees to take the day off so that they can catch the movie on its release day.

The circular sent to the employees reads, “Dear Team Members, We are happy to announce the glad news to all of you. As a token of great honour to superstar Rajinikanth and as per everyone's request, our company is granting a holiday on June 7. This is for your convenience to watch 'Kaala' on the release day itself.”

The company has 30 people working and a majority of team members, including women employees, are hardcore Rajinikanth fans.

Earlier, during the release of 'Kabali' in 2016, some companies in Chennai and Bengaluru had granted a holiday.
