Sai Pallavi rejects lucrative ad deal, here's why

Actress Sai Pallavi's latest film 'Athiran' is fetching rave reviews and movie buffs are applauding her for her stunning performance.

With a few back-to-back hits, the actress is now in the news for rejecting a Rs 2 crore advertisement deal. Reportedly, a famous fairness cream brand approached her to endorse their product. They offered her a hefty sum of Rs 2 crore as her remuneration for the commercial. But, Sai Pallavi turned down the offer instantly.

Although an official confirmation regarding Sai Pallavi spurning the offer is yet to come, it is said that she dislikes cosmetics and never used it to enhance her natural beauty. She decided not to take up the lucrative offer as it would be against her personal likes and policy.

Earlier, in an interview, she had said, “I don’t endorse beauty products. You need to be confident about who you are and your skin colour.”

No wonder the South Indian actress unhesitantly flaunts her pimples. In fact, when she made her debut in 'Premam', she was even identified by many as the 'pimple girl'.

The film 'Athiran', too saw her with minimum makeup and accessories and she looked incredible on screen playing the role of an autistic girl, Nithya.

Currently, she is awaiting the release of Selvaraghavan's 'NGK', which also features Suriya, and Rana Daggubati's 'Virata Parvam'.
