Aditya, Shraddha likely to be in 'OK Kanmani' remake

For all of us who alluded director Mani Ratnam's O Kadhal Kanmani to his previous Alaipayuthey have another reason to draw comparisons—OK Kanmani, like Alaipayuthey is seemingly on its way to bowl Bollywood over.

The news was apparently let out by Mani Ratnam himself, when the director was at IFTDA (Indian Films and Television Directors Association) in Mumbai to conduct a class. According to sources, he happened to reveal that the Hindi remake of OK Kanmani is taking shape. He also said that it will be directed by Shaad Ali. Incidentally, Shaad Ali, an associate of Mani Ratnam had directed Saathiya, the Hindi remake of Alaipayuthey.

While most of the technicians and crew of OK Kanmani, like cinematographer P.C. Sreeram and music director A.R. Rahman, will be retained, the cast will definitely see faces familiar to Bollywood. The Aashiqui 2 pair, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor are said to be in talks for the project. Looks like the film is going for a fun ride
