South Indian actress Geetha invited flak from various corners after making insulting comments to an LGBTQ couple on a TV show.
The actor who hosts the show 'Bathuku Jataka Bandi' on Zee Telugu threatened a 20-year-old woman and a 23-year-old transman for their sexual orientation.
Calling their decision to live together 'immature', Geetha said, “It will be disgusting to see you hanging around in parks and cinemas like this. It is not just enough to dress up like a man.”
The show took an ugly turn after Geetha lost her temper and threatened the girl for eloping with the transman. ''Don't you have any shame? How do you even have sex? Aren’t you ashamed of staying with another girl? I will thrash you and will hit you with slippers,” she added.

Reportedly, Hyderabad’s LGBTQ community demanded the Zee Telugu and the team of the show to publicly apologize for such an incident insulting the whole LGBTQ community. Social media also didn't approve of Geetha's statements.
