Here's what is served at the carbon-neutral kitchen in Nedumbaserry

Raw sadya

The much-awaited carbon-neutral kitchen has begun functioning at the Moozhikkulam shala in Nedumbassery. Raw food is mostly served in this kitchen. The kitchen functions from 11 am to 6 in the evening. The meals are pre-booked and the customers have to make reservations to enjoy the unique dishes here.

Apple-beetroot-carrot drink, fruit salad with honey, vegetable salad, avial njeradiyathu made with flattened rice, ginger, green chillies, curd, salt and curry leaves, chammanthi or chutney made with bilimbi, coconut, ginger, green chillies, mint leaves and salt, raw peanuts soaked in brine with coconut flesh, banana payasam made with robusta banana, coconut milk, almonds, cashews, dates and palm jaggery and a special drink made with brined dry gooseberries are some of the unique dishes in their menu. The dishes on the menu may change in the coming days. Fruits, fresh juices, and tender coconut are served in the evenings.
