Here is a sweet dessert made by cooking almonds, cashews, and pistachio in milk.
Ingredients
2 litres milk
350 gm sugar
250 gm cashew (coarsely ground)
300 gm almond (coarsely ground)
50 gm pistachio
4 tbsp ghee
4-5 petals of saffron
Preparation
In a deep vessel, heat 2 litres of milk until it gets reduced to 1.5 litres
Add sugar and stir well until it melts
Add the ground cashew and almond
Cook well and keep it aside
Heat ghee in a pan
Add 10 cashews and pistachios each
Roast well
Add into the previously prepared payasam
Garnish with saffron petals
It can be served hot or cold.
