Oven-less white forest cake: Moist, delicious and just as awesome as store-bought cakes

In the mood to eat a cake but have no oven and no mood to run to the bakery? No worries! You can still satisfy your cravings if you have some white chocoate, whipping cream and the other usual 'suspects' at home. You can easily bake a moist, tasty white forest cake without worrying about the oven and it is going to taste just as yummy as the one in a bakery. Check out the recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ cup milk
100 gms butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
A pinch of salt
1 cup sugar
¾ cup water
2 cups whipping cream
White chocolate as required
Cherries as required

Preparation
Sift the all purpose flour, baking powder and salt at least thrice
Boil milk and butter in a pan on low flame
Meanwhile, beat eggs and sugar in a bowl
When this turns fluffy add vanilla essence
Beat well
Into it add the sifted dry ingredients slowly
Fold well
Now add the boiled milk and butter
Mix well into smooth cake batter
Pour the batter into a cake tin lined with butter paper
Heat an aluminium vessel on a stand on medium flame for ten minutes
Place the cake tin in the aluminium vessel
Close the lid and bake on high flame for the first three minutes
Now bake the cake on medium flame for 45 minutes
After 45 minutes, poke a tooth pick into the cake to check whether it is baked
If the stick comes out clear, then the cake is cooked perfectly
Now allow the cake to cool down completely
To prepare the sugar syrup, boil 1 cup sugar and three cherries in ¾ cup water
Meanwhile, cut the cake into three layers
Beat the whipping cream in a bowl
Spread some whipping cream on a cake board
Place a layer of cake on it
Moisten the cake with the sugar syrup
Spread the whipping cream
Then spread some grated white chocolate and some cherry pieces
Now place the second layer of cake
Sprinkle the sugar syrup
Spread whipping cream, grated chocolate and cherries
Place the third layer of cake
Cover the cake using whipping cream
Now keep the cake in the fridge until everything is set
After taking it out of the fridge, level the cake again
Add grated white chocolate
Fill the whipping cream in a piping bag and add your favourite nozzle
Draw designs on the cake as you prefer
Decorate with more cherries
Keep the finished cake in the fridge for some more time
Delicious and soft homemade white forest cake is ready!
