Have you ever tried making pooris using an air fryer? Soft and flaky pooris, typically made with wheat or all-purpose flour, are often paired with flavorful potato stew. However, not everyone can indulge in this delightful combination due to the deep-frying process involved in traditional poori preparation. Yet, there's a lesser-known method to achieve the same soft and tasty pooris without the need for excess oil. Here's how to effortlessly prepare oil-free pooris at home.

Ingredients
1 cup wheat flour
¼ tsp salt
1 ½ tsp yoghurt
Water as required

Preparation
In a mixing bowl, combine the wheat flour, yogurt, and salt
Gradually add water as needed to form a smooth dough. Ensure that the dough is not too loose
Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a flat, round poori
Cooking Instructions:
Heat water in a pan until it reaches a rolling boil
Carefully add the pooris to the boiling water and cook for 2-3 minutes until they float to the surface
Remove the cooked pooris from the water and dab off any excess moisture with a clean cotton cloth
Preheat the air fryer for 5-6 minutes
Place the cooked pooris inside the air fryer tray and cook until the outsides are crispy and golden brown

Your delicious oil-free pooris are now ready to be served. Enjoy them with your favourite accompaniment, such as potato masala or chickpea curry, for a satisfying and wholesome meal
