GI rafters painted in the wooden finish are the highlight of the elevation.

Faisal who had worked abroad wanted his dream abode in Mynagappally in Kerala to be a celebration of cool breeze and serene nature that he had missed for years. The architect designed the beautiful house catering to the likes and needs of the family.

Interestingly, the structure has been built using porotherm bricks that are lighter and eco-friendly too. GI rafters painted in wooden finish are the highlight of the elevation. Besides, GI sheet with HPL panelling has been installed over the concrete roof too add a chic look.

The structure that stands in 18 cents is built by leaving ample space in the front so that the classy elegance of the elevation could be enjoyed even from the road. The front yard is paved with Bangalore stones and grass in alternate layers. Meanwhile, the fabricated car porch is built with GI frame with HPL sheet fabrication.

This splendid abode has a sit-out, living area, dining space, kitchen with a work area and two bedrooms in the ground floor while there is an upper living area that could be turned into a working space and a bedroom in the upper floor. The house that boasts of tastefully done interiors is designed in 2793 sqft.

The interior spaces do not don brighter shades that are uncomfortable to the eyes. The semi-open spaces are vaster and ensure excellent cross ventilation. A classy aquarium is what separates the living and dining areas.

Vitrified tiles in matte finish have been used for flooring in the interiors. Meanwhile, the custom-made furniture enhances the graceful ambience.

The space beneath the staircase has been turned into a haven of greenery. The designer pond which is home to beautiful koi fish and the indoor plants are sure to fill your hearts with calmness and joy.

The simple dining area is arranged close to a quaint green courtyard. The pergola skylight here brings in lots of natural sunshine. A cosy sitting space too has been arranged in the green courtyard.

The staircase is built by paving pinewood planks on a sturdy metal structure.

The modern kitchen in the classic black and white colour theme exudes elegance.

Meanwhile, the bedrooms have attached bathrooms, lots of in–built wardrobes for storage and separate dressing areas too.

The house mostly runs on electricity produced by the solar plant that is installed on the roof. Besides, there is a rainwater harvesting tank to store and use the rainwater that falls on the roof. The family is thrilled to move into their dream dwelling where nature meets modern designer elements.
