Manorama Online, in association with Vishwashanti Foundation and Joy Alukkas Foundation, is organising the ‘Be a Hero, Say No to Drugs’ campaign on June 26, the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. Students from classes 8 – 12 from various schools in Ernakulam and their parents can take part in this anti–drug campaign. Manorama Online collaborates with the Narcotic Control Bureau of India and the Regional Sports Centre to conduct this extensive campaign.
A day with Mohanlal
Various competitions, including basketball, poster designing, and quizzes, will be held at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Kadavantra, Kochi, as part of the campaign. Meanwhile, cash awards and other exciting prizes await the winners. Officials from the Narcotic Control Bureau will deliver anti–drug day messages to the participants. Screen icon Mohanlal and entrepreneur Joy Alukkas will attend the campaign as chief guests to present the prizes and administer the anti–drug pledge.

Students from classes 8, 9, 10, plus one and plus two classes are eligible to participate in this campaign. They should ensure advance registration to participate in the various competitions and events. A valid school ID is mandatory to register for the competitions.
