Summer is here and we know what that means - unbearable heat, sweaty clothes and sleepless nights. Tired of it already? We feel you. Here are a few fun ways to beat the heat.

Take a hot shower

Still feeling yuck after numerous baths? Change the way you do it this time. Consider taking a hot water bath. I know, it sounds ridiculous, but taking a hot water bath has been scientifically proven to reduce your body temperature. As you step out of the shower, you will feel a lot cooler. You may call it Theory of Relativity!

Store a few towels in cold water and use them on your forehead and eyes when the power is out. You will feel relaxed and hey, you'd probably doze off and skip the whole no-power situation. We know you are aware of the feet-in-cold-water remedy, but have you tried doing that with a watermelon? Slice a watermelon in half and plunge your feet into the fruit. Very instagrammable! Note: Don't walk around in it if you can't handle a mop.

Our team is split on this one, but here's it anyway: add a tad bit more chilli, pepper and other spicy ingredients in your meals. You'd be too busy then warding off the spiciness to bother about the heat. And hey, eating spicy food does get you to sweat thereby bringing the body temperature down. Bon appetit, you all!

Hit the gym

I know – there isn't a more ridiculous proposition than hitting the gym on a hot summer day. But hey, gyms are air-conditioned. Period. So if you are going to sweat anyway, sweat in style and also get in shape. Wedding season is upon us, duh!
