Two Keralites killed in bike collision in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Two young men from Kerala died as motorbikes collided in the Electronic City here early on Tuesday.

The dead are: Jithin Jose and Sonu Soni, both aged 27.

Jithin was from Mananthavadi in Wayanad district, whereas Sonu hailed from Valakamattom in Kottayam district.

The accident occurred about 12.30 am on the service road beside the flyover at Electronic City in Anekal taluk.

Both were on the same bike. As they were proceeding to their residence at Huskur from Electronic City the bike collided with another one that came from the opposite direction.

Sonu reportedly died on the spot. Jithin succumbed at a private hospital at Hebbegudy.

Two riders on the other bike were injured. They are undergoing treatment currently.

Jithin was running a CCTV business and Sonu was an employee of a private firm in Bengaluru.

Jithin's funeral is scheduled at the cemetery of Cherupushpam Church at Puthiyidam at his native place on Tuesday.

Sonu's funeral would be held later.

K U Jose and Annie are Jithin's parents. Soni Jacob and Mini are Sonu's parents.
